Right of Expression?

I am not much of into newspapers to read about crime, politics and such endless issues but it was a day when just to kill the time since I did not have any good book around, I grabbed The Times Of India and flipped through pages. There was a cartoon that created some controversies over parliament and among concerned politicians. It was about our politicians and some great man who contributed in constitution. Obviously they are worth respecting but no-one can ever doubt about the expression of anyone’s thoughts until and unless they are vulgar or inducing communal or religious rights.
Couple of months back the ruling party tried to ban the social networking sites for the same issues. Some satire freak expressed the reality of our beloved PM and congress authorities who decides the scripts for our PM. I personally think they should be left free to express, this is the only way to express the truth in more creative ways. Obviously truth is bitter and harder to confront that’s only why our politicians react so immaturely when someone tries to express the reality in pictorial form.

The right and briefs: The Fundamental Rights in Indian constitution acts as a guarantee that all Indian citizens can and will live their lives in peace as long as they live in Indian democracy. They include individual rights common to most liberal democracies, such as equality before the law, freedom of speech and expression, freedom of association and peaceful assembly, freedom of religion, and the right to constitutional remedies for the protection of civil right.
Originally, the right to property was also included in the Fundamental Rights, however, the Forty-Fourth Amendment, passed in 1978, revised the status of property rights by stating that "No person shall be deprived of his property save by authority of law."
So this is not exactly the point that made me write this post, the expressions of political truth and satires. I don’t know the details of this cartoon issue neither I will dig into them but I guess it would be almost true that was depicted in the cartoon, if not this time than for the past times. Our political figures are some of the darkest faces of contemporary, saying this will not go beyond the reality. Or confirm it by comparing them with the thieves and robbers, how much they are involved in corruption and every possible bad activity. You go through the reality and you will find the reality. Ok let’s not talk about the incurable disease of India.
Today as soon I picked up the newspaper and was pleased to see the supplement that came on the auspicious occasion of mother’s day. There I was shocked to see a quotation of M. F. Husain.
The anti-India and anti-Hindu painter received many awards. For the worst he always expressed his art to offend Hindus and Indians. Just for once go through his work you will find the discrimination over the religion and patriotism.
For your surprise after his demise our Ministry of Information and Broadcasting paid a nation-wide tribute to this wicked mind. He painted all the Hindu deities totally nude, naked Saraswati (goddess of knowledge and wisdom), naked goddess durga, naked ganesh, naked sita on the thighs of ravan with hanuman standing there and also naked bharatmata. He even painted ‘rape of India’, and animal sexual abuses with Hindu gods. His paintings consist of green blood the color of Islam in Hindu naked and brutal paints. The same color he used in ‘rape of India’ and similar paintings. A thing that can’t be left away he painted a bramhin naked and a Muslim fully clothed in single painting. He painted fully clothed mother Teresa and in his other paintings he painted fully clothed and sober ladies of Islam.  A person whom I think doesn’t deserve any respect. He was awarded with many honors and was a national painter for India who depicted the rape of India and hindutva, he had this wicked level in his mind that he could be declared a pervert or mentally sick. Yet he was called the ‘Picasso of India’. I think the ruling party never will try to justice on this level of religion differences, you see the treatment Afjal guru and kasab is getting, they are enjoying the food of a three star rating hotel and on the other hand we have Pragya-devi.
Where was this parliament and these self-centered politicians when MF Husain was painting Hindu goddesses nude and Bharatmata nude? They were providing him z-grade security. Some of the hindutva missionaries tried asking about it but the issue was sabotaged from the ruling party. After all it is their business to think about the vote-bank of a huge and increasingly populating community.

Think about it and ask yourself is it right, or if it is right of expression.

Just a day unlike others...

Not every morning I wake up at 7: am, not every day I keep reminding myself to smile for no reason, obviously it holds fake curves; to not to lose control over my mind. I tries hard enough to say a few lines that makes my presence meaningful, but alas!!! I could not utter a single word from thousand of thoughts…and I regret over that silence, it was a disability of ma mind, to not to accept what is happening around. For the best I hope that not every feeling requires to be said, sometimes silence plays better…
It was a day unlike any other day. The day when a chapter ends, was known, understood and accepted. But attachment, love and relations are the beauty of human beings.
A friction between heart and mind can be easily felt inside anyone, and so was I feeling the same.
Mind was more rational towards what is sleeping away, with the same intensity heart was drowning into a never ending pool of emotions yet it realizes all the goodness, can’t force what is desired…or maybe I never desired her, I just wanted to feel that way; and its complicate to understand for me too, yet I am aware of the answers.
May be I m ended with what I lived for a long time, or maybe it was precisely a new start again. For all the logics that put together towards the depth, the feeling breathes inside me and hope to keep it alive until my final farewell. And subconsciously it’s about the feeling only.
It goes in a circle, will comes back to me or rather will never goes away from me; yet I m not concerned about expressing the whole of what I feel inside; since I don’t rely on the words for every time; what I demand is to feel the vibes, and that’s it.
Surely I will take this issue further in near future when will be overwhelmed with the feeling. (The heartfelt side…bekhudi mein)
We should be thankful to every individual who ever came into our mind to provoke any thread of emotion; whether they have made you feel happy, sad, or remorse for meeting them. Just keep a spirit to shine-on; and we would be happy for anything we came across. Compassion, love, and honesty will make relations meaningful and strong. Getting diverted with what was going in mind is the simplest indicator to stop the post. J
I made this post after such a count of days just to ensure, not to state too-much into this, and to check the intensity of the words that comes out. Obviously it is a low count, yet a good enough to retain.

jusst shut-up !!!

It’s been a time since I got scratch on ma arms. It was 29th of Jun, first time in my life; I thought of getting hurt by anyone voluntarily …but strange, I could not; I was so weak to face her.
Time passes heals, scratches; again heals and again scratches. I salute ‘time’ for constantly reminding me, that nobody can be so steady that he can proud of… I agree somewhere humans share common feelings of nostalgia, nobody can escape.
Just when I started writing, mumma asked me if anything is right; I told her that its results I am thinking of...Smart lie.
Today somebody asked me for inappropriate use of the word ‘shut-up’…he he he; the most used word since morning by me.  CODDECT (correct)…i hope things are clear atleast to family members..it was she, who was on mind, and it was her word. And probably we too. May be today I was going through mood-swings, and pretended to be a bit funnier.
Can anyone feel how tough it is to tell Anuj that I’m missing ‘us’ but don’t make me a call right now. I thought of calling Raaj, but then again; same. I can not talk to them right now.
I can not write more.
We miss you Megha, we miss you meggie, we miss you mumma, we miss you mogli.
Tell them wateva it takes you to be here…mrp, internals or nything. And come soon, to TAKE CARE OF THE TRIO OF IDIOTS…pleeeez, we need you, we LOVE you.

R-IDEA BUSINESS TRIP_d unofficial eye.

It was Raj, and Me (Pratik); took the full responsibility of carelessness, we made. (THE HEROIC PART…?) We guys did not informed in prior about business plan competition to anybody. Decisions were made in rash about teams, contributed in friction among friends. But yet they were friends everything was settled down.
We started working on the ideas; it was obviously a brainstorming session, hosted at HAVELI.
Sumit, Arif, Raj and Me could afford to be there… (It’s very hard to survive a gal der; sorry Chchavi).
The evening ended with raw ideas to serve society and make profit.
The next session again conducted at d same place, it was not less than judgment day…the trio (sumit, raj & me) worked hard, and in any case the two of them can’t avoid fun. The dark night resulted in a package of hope, “SETU-progress with compassion” and its write-up ( smthin’ productive). [credit also goes to Bank’s watchman and ‘a shawl’ ;-)]
Everyone around us liked the name,”SETU”. We started working hard, visited orphanages, old age homes, firms involved in CSR activities and many where. We were doing things in full spirits. Sumit and Chchavi were giving their efforts that must be recognized in special; (thank you guys).
I am very sure our team members made the moments very interesting, everyone was gd at humour. (Warning: no-limits were allowed)
Everyone was known to me in sense of, humour, bt it was Chchavi who made me think, hw cool she is.
Arif was like a discovery in the game. The team enjoyed a lot together. The list is endless for memorable moments _[ batao me kya soch raha hu???,,, Raj having tea(?) in auditorium at Raisoni,,,, 69,,,, a walk of 6 kms b4 and after dinner,,, Arsh (***a ), yet d list z endless bt censor issues as always. ]
 LOL:-D
We were short listed for presentations. Got reservation and travelled to Bhopal, the waiting was long in the night der, bt frndz made things easy. I talked to Rashmi, Sneha, Silky, Shikha n company; u guys r indeed a great company.(LOVELY  TOOO; thanks all 100%)
In between waitin, I met ma old friend, spend tym together  was very pleasant, went fo a drive.
Luckily train arrived at 4:30 am.
Arrived at Nagpur Railway Station the next morning.
Scene two starts here: they were volunteers representing Raisoni Business School, helped us to reach hotel. Very supportive, cool and polite.
I suck at remembrin people bt one name I cn easily figure out is KARAN, d friendly face fo all. (thanx karan fo so much care and support) also thanx to all volunteers who made efforts directly or indirectly to make the event successful.
The collage, “RAISONI BUSINESS SCHOOL” the crowd z wonderful, classy infra, and evrythin that make d campus alive.
The collage, faculties and volunteers deserve gr8 applause; they altogether turned things possible and easy…thanx to IIM-A and RAISONI BUSINESS SCHOOL for organizing a gr8 event for management students.
Learning was made as far as possible and also it was a big tym; I mean while u r listening gr8 speakers lyk Chetan Bhagat and many more industry kings, things themselves r very interestin.
It was very confusing to predict the business idea winner, bt somehow judges managed it.
The departure made easy by the friends around. Some of d names I want to list out(Anuj, Megha, Silky, Chchavi, Arsh, , Sumit, Sneha, Shikha, Rohit, Shoeb, Vatsalya) [ probably I wrote evry name  J]   Raj is not needed to mention coz people dnt xpect us without each othr.
(They wr playin cards ,n I wasn’t… but still; sittin behind n talking all the non-sensible things made it memorable…(yt can’t resist to write dat; it made sense,,, atleast to meee !!!).
Rashmi deserves to b treated in one person. (Biased??? Can’t help out..human nature  :D)
On way back the ‘chappal-giri’ incident was vry interestin. (Shikha’s) :-D
(Thank u guys))
Also thanks to our collage fo enabling us to participate and thanks to Ajay sir & Ashutosh Sir for their continuous support.
Here are some of the comments that I wish to share:

THE IBL JOURNEY...

Hello friends, I am Silky Pamnani and for the first time I am sharing few of my captured moments through this blog. Have much to explain about maself, but lemme first cover this post first.
Life is full of twists and turns and so is with the SVIM’s aura. The thing I m talking about here is the IBL, which gave a U turn to boring SVIM’s life.
4th dec. 2010,shoyab came to me for finalizing the 10 team members for Indore Business League(IBL),a management competition ,organized by IIM-I, a 5 week competition from dec 6,10 to 11 Jan 11,in which 20 colleges participated
We had to select 10 gems from our college for this comp., which was the toughest task, as SVIM comprises of many rubis and diamonds and we were restricted for 10 members only. Anyhow with many ups n downs we finalized 10 members –vatsalya, shoyab, sneha, shikha, rashmi, rohit, disha, prasannajeet, raj and of course me. There were many rounds in the whole...trying to cover all in the nutshell.

First round(facebook round)

Comprised of team name, team photo and college video, IBL  posted all the stuff on its facebook a/c and challenge was to beat the other teams by maximum votes. First phase was to give a fundoo name to your team and Appolocalapies, technosapiance, best of breed, r u ok etc. names we thought but finally sneha came up with the name “Twisters’10”, which became our team’s identity. The round generated a spark of voting in our college, and all our faculties and fellows supported it. The final day of this phase was breath taking. Voting lines were to b closed by 8 pm and till 6 pm we were on the first position with 600 votes, so we got relaxed, by the time went IPS with team name INSAN and Sapients with the name Terrific Titans took the first 2 places. I was surprised to see the shuffling at 7 pm and sent messages to all my friends to vote more. With every minute all 3 were fighting for the first position and finally scores were like this.
Ips-693 vote, sapients-684 votes and twisters-678 votes.
In second phase a team photo was to be designed. Twisters decided to define SVIM as success, vision, involvement and management and painted it on sheets and had a snap around it.
In final round of facebook, IBL asked for college video, twisters covered every part of the college and designed the video and as it was d final voting round, it was very happening. Here I would like to mention that raj and pratik helped us a lot in getting votes .We stood on top 3 positions in all the 3 phases.

MANAGEMENT ROUNDS-
Apart from being creative and funny IBL also covered the management perspective
MARK-I:-Business has only 2 functions-marketing and innovation. Keeping this in mind, next round was to design a green product. Twisters showed that they are no where less in creativity and created a virtual product “imperial green” i.e. ethanol from the waste and scrap items.
FINISH-I:-Money talks, but all mine ever says is good bye. A challenging round and our key strength, it was about to invest 10 lakh rupees by each team member in virtual stocks. Our investors were vatsalya, shoyab, rohit, raj and prasanajeet, who were handling all the 10 accounts, they were just playing with the money every day and made the net worth of 450 crores of  the team and stood first and biggest in that.
RECUITERS-I & CONSULT-I:-IBL touched the personnel manager of our mind and made us feel like HR manager of a Khadi co. & gave us the task to recruit the marketing personnels for the same. In Consult-I, we tried to solve the problems faced by a NGO.

24th dec was the final day of first phase and we were relaxed for next few days.29th dec was the most awaited day, the result was about to come for the first round. Only 4 teams were short listed for the finals and rest 16 teams got one more chance to fight for the finals through Challengers round. Twisters ’10 were through to the finals and we celebrated the day as it was sneha’s b’day too the same day i.e. 29th dec. IMS came through wild card entry through challengers round.

Final rounds: 2 hard nuts for the final rounds were opra-I and systemat-i

Opra-i: Lets make indore better was the theme of this round, in which all the teams were given certain areas of indore to go through all the streets and find out the transportation problem and then finally to give the feasible solutions for whole indore transportation. First time worked for my city, but felt pathos for the same. A presentation was to be delivered for the same on 11 Jan, which was done very well by sneha and shoyab.
Systemat-i: A round related to find the loopholes of Indore collectorate and to convert all the manual works into electronic form. A GD was conducted on the final day over this, one member from each team and which was handled by rashmi on behalf of twisters in a very smart and stupendous manner.
Finally the judgment and the most awaited moment from last 5 weeks came. Twisters were the first runner up with prize money of 15,000 rs. and a group trophy and certificates to all the members. We all enjoyed to our best that day and it became a memorable event for all of us.

thank you Silky for sharing the IBL-Journey with us...thanx fo being here           with me, as a co-blogger...thanx a lot...

Pratik...hv fun.
